Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV

Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SuperVeloce GTR2 Addon *Exclusive StreetSim Release*

svreleasep1

StreetSim Development Team brings to you its first release. The Lamborghini Murcielago LP 670-4 SV.
This is the last variant of the Murcielago before its phased out for a new flagship model.

we  implemented the capabilites of a game such as GTR2 to portray as accurate as possible true to life
road car behavior. This car accelerates, brakes and corners as close to the real SV as possible based on vehicle
data available for the SV.

Special attention has been paid to the tire Model, as its suited specifically to the SV to mimic road legal sport
tire grip as well as to help mimic the SV front/rear AWD split beyond that of just the LSD settings.

Again, be aware, this is a road car, not a race car. It benefits from aerodynamics but it will NOT match a pure
race car dynamics in terms of grip.

    great job!

Thanks we hope it is on the real side :D as we tried it to be founded on real data…But as you said main thing you enjoy it.

Awesome guys, one fo my favourite cars (Reventon would have been even nicer, but beggars cant be choosers)
As I said in the GTR comments, these are some really good models, the only criticism is that when watching the replay on ‘television’ the engine sounds almost like an F1 car, now I know the Lambo is a V12 screamer, but from the other outside car views the pitch doesnt match.
Thanks anyway guys, one of my favourite!

This mod is so amazing it got me tongtied. It’s probably the best street car I’ve ever played in GTR2 in all respects, especially the physics which are amazing!!! As for the outside sounds I can’t really comment on it’s realism as I don’t really know what it’s suppose to sound from the outside, but it sounds great nevertheless. GREAT WORK guys!!! Keep it up, PLEASE!!!

Guys, after having done quite a few laps on the Nordschleife I now have one major criticism about this car. It is the downforce, or in this case, the lack thereof. This car is brilliant in terms of physics when it’s going around low speed corners, but through fast corners, from all I’ve read and seen and heard about this car it should be a lot more grippy. All the downforce this Lambo has is simply not working around really fast corners apparently. I’m always having to take my foot off the accelerator whenever I’m about to enter a high speed corner otherwise the rear end of the car simply spins around totally out of control. I know I’m not using the driver aids, but still the downforce simply isn’t working in your physics for this car. I would really like to read from you guys on this because I’m a HUGE fan of your work. PLEASE give me some feedback on this as soon as possible, ok? ;-)

    Thx already!

The downforce is exactly right as to spec i have found from testing, and the lambo pretty much has exact cornering speeds, as checked vs real V-box beasurements, in some occasions it is even to fast. The cornering speeds are cheched at track that we found data for and in cross comparisson with lap times we have set up cars in such way that it closely matches real data.
The lambo actually has around 110kg (40kg front 70kg at the back) at 200km/h and that is not a lot for such a heavy car and we have matched that with some of the tools available for physic creation. At the end our lambo is even a bit faster atound fast corners that the real car and can set a bit faster lap times. So u can trust me and belive that it has enough downforce.
Many cars have actually up force or lift instead of downforce, so and downforce in car design is regarded as positive.
Some figures that manufacturers give are not true or given at max speeds. All cars do have parts that produce downforce but other parts of the cars produce lift so it is a fight against those two forces. It is only the matter of the balance between them.
An other issue with games is that there is no propper feedback and u can feel the grip and speed…… Hope it is a good anwser :D

Thank you very much for your response as I am a really HUGE fan of your work with these cars. As I have noexperience with super cars and for all you’ve told me I do believe you and hope that you’ll keep doing such a remarkable job with your coming cars in the future especially regarding physics.

    Thank u!!

    Hi there (again)

After quite a lot of laps on the Nordshcleife (most of them unsuccessful), I’ve finally discovered what’s so real about this Lambo, and it is the fact that, differently from probably all of the other virtual cars I’ve ever driven, with this car you simply can’t overdrive. Whereas with the rest you can easily get away with overdriving (downshifting and braking in a completely unrealistic way), with the Lambo, much like in real life, you have to brake early for a low speed corner if you’re coming into it very fast, and you can’t downshift to save your ass from going straight off the track as you do in most other virtual cars. This is what I admire the most about the physics of your Lamborghini.

PS: Please, make a rear wheel drive street car such as a BMW or a Mercedes SLS because that coupled with your near perfect physics would be simply awesome!

Again, thank u guys very much for this piece of art! ;-)

Thanks for the feed back, and yeah u finally got it :D the braking is also set up so that it matches figures from few tests i found. So all in all u got it right :D

  • Posted by rafael On June 6, 2011

Yes, I’d just like that downshifting too quickly would brake the gear box or something. That with the braking which you’ve got just right would finally stop ‘aliens’ from driving faster than the speed of light. Or at the very least that would make them slower and closer to ‘normal’ drivers like myself. ;-)

Also, in the event of an upcoming RWD car from you guys, it is my opinion that, generally they aren’t that difficult to drift and slide around corners. I mean, if Jeremy Clarkson from Top Gear can easily do it, why should it be so hard as most virtual cars make it seem like? Are you of the same opinion?

    Cheers!

  • Posted by AzRiM On June 7, 2011

Well few RWD cars are comming, A ISF normal one, an imaginary ISFR with a v10 spec engine from the LFA, the RWD lamvo murcielago with 690 hp, and a alfa romeo concept I designed. All are pretty much ready except the alfa.
The physics is formed for all cars and yeah they aer not that hard to drift, but really woudl not be able to say how Jermy is capable of doing it heh. It aint easy and it aint the hardest thing u can do in a car so ….. depends on teh car too so ……
